Who is responsible
Nix3D Studio is the trade name of a 3D development studio working from Venezuela on rendering, video game development and digital art. It is responsible for the personal data handled on nix3dstudio.online, in the test builds of its games and in the invitations app.
For any question about your data, write to nixvideojuego@gmail.com.
What data we handle
We only handle the data that each part of the service needs:
- When you visit the site: the server records technical details of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and result. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, and the fonts are served from our own server.
- Project form: what you type in the form stays in your browser. The form prepares a file or an email draft that you decide whether to send. We do not store it on the server.
- If you write to us: by email or WhatsApp we handle your name, your contact details and what you tell us about the project, to reply, prepare a proposal and, if you hire us, carry out the work and issue payment documents.
- BattleEggs (test build): your account stores your email, your password (as a hash), your player name, your friends and your progress on the server. The game also sends technical test data: phone model, Android version, memory, performance (FPS) of each match, the night you reached, game errors and your approximate country. Your IP address is not stored with that data. The game does not access your contacts, your location or anything outside the game.
- Gatookie (test build): your account stores a user name, a 4-digit PIN (as a hash) and the state of your house and game. It does not ask for an email. In the online test other players see your user name, your house, your market listings and what you exchange with them (gifts, help, visits and sabotage). It sends the same technical test data as BattleEggs, also without storing your IP.
- Dumpster Cats (test build): no account. Progress is saved only on your phone.
- Interactive invitations: the names, dates, places, messages and guest lists you type when creating an invitation. The draft is kept in your browser. The normal link carries the invitation inside the link itself and is not stored on the server. Only if you choose a short link is the content stored on the server so the link works. Phone numbers you type for WhatsApp confirmations stay in your browser, and the link service records no visits or IP addresses.
We do not ask for especially sensitive data (health, beliefs, full bank details, identity documents), and we ask you not to include it in forms, invitations or player names.
What we use it for
- Serving the site, keeping it secure and detecting abuse or attacks.
- Replying to your messages, preparing proposals and delivering hired projects.
- Creating and keeping your test accounts, saving your progress and running the online features between players.
- Measuring how the games run on different devices and fixing errors.
- Showing invitations to the people you send the link to.
We do not sell or rent your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not build commercial profiles with it.
Why we may handle it
We handle your data with your consent, which you give by writing to us, creating an account, downloading a test build or creating an invitation; to perform a contract or a proposal you asked for; to protect the security of the site and servers; and when a law requires it.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing it does not affect what was done before, but it may stop you from using a test account.
Where it is stored
The site, the game accounts and the invitation links run on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, in its Nuremberg data centre in Germany. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS.
BattleEggs’ PVP / CO-OP mode connects real time matches through Photon (Exit Games), which receives the technical connection data while you play. If you email us, the message stays in our Gmail (Google) mailbox. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s (Meta) policy also applies. By using these services you accept that your data is stored and processed outside Venezuela, in the places listed.
How long we keep it
- Server technical logs: as long as needed for security and diagnosis, at most 12 months.
- Messages and proposals: while the conversation or project lasts and up to 2 years after, unless the law requires keeping payment documents longer.
- Test accounts and game technical data: while the test lasts. Tests may reset accounts between versions, and when a test ends we delete its accounts within 12 months.
- Invitation short links: deleted automatically 3 months after the event date, or 1 year after they are created if they have no date. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Article 28 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela recognises the right of habeas data, and article 60 protects private life. So at any time you can:
- Know what data of yours we hold, what we use it for and where it came from.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it, including your test account.
- Object to a specific use or withdraw your consent.
Write to nixvideojuego@gmail.com saying what you need and, for a game account, the game and your user name or email. We may ask for a detail to check the account is yours. We reply within 30 days at most.
If you live in a country with its own data protection law, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, you can also exercise the rights that law gives you at the same address, and lodge a complaint with the authority in your country.
Security
We use encrypted connections, restricted access to the servers, backups before every change and a separate service for each game. Passwords and PINs are stored as hashes, never as readable text. No system is infallible: if we detect a breach affecting your data, we will tell you through the means we have and on the site.
In the test builds, use a password or PIN you do not use anywhere else.
Minors
The site and the test builds are not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor, use the test builds and accounts with the permission and supervision of your parent or guardian.
If you are a minor’s guardian and believe they gave us personal data, write to nixvideojuego@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Whoever creates an invitation with children’s names or images declares that they are their guardian or have their permission.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the change is important, for example if we add analytics or a new provider, we will announce it on the site before applying it and, when needed, ask for your consent again.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Law on Data Messages and Electronic Signatures, the Special Law against Computer Crimes and the other applicable Venezuelan rules, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country gives you.
